I'll have a full post either later tonight or sometime tomorrow, but I made it to Andong Dam a bit after 4 p.m., with the dam slated to close at 5. I'm waiting for my 6:30 bus to Seoul right now.

Sorry I don't look more ecstatic. I had fantasized that I might burst into tears at having survived this walk, but I've never been much of a sentimental type, and I was probably too tired from the climb up to the top of the dam. I did, however, feel close to having a heart attack for the first time during the walk, maybe from having walked 28 kilometers and then doing that climb.
Okay, my phone is low on power, and I need to get closer to the bus platform. More later, and in greater depth. Promise.
Congrats! Truly a great walk. Safe travels back up to Seoul and please get that big toe looked at ASAP. That wound needs proper treatment to prevent any additional tissue loss and other complications... To many more successful walks in the years ahead!
